Stylish castle in the center of Bucharest, Pache Protopopescu Blvd. Built by the former Romanian king for his mistress, the Swiss architects used best materials and the latest technology at the time: electricity and central heating. The outside structure is very solid, but the interior needs refurbishing and modernizing. During communist years it was used as a musical library. Many of the original decorative elements have been preserved: oil wall paintings, wooden panels, marble colums, original cristal windows on the French doors. Ideal for large institution, embassy, company headquarters, or private clinic. The owners could consider renting it and deduct the rent from the modernizing costs. |
