If you want to buy a house or you want to build your own you have to be very careful with the documents that you will get.

and let me tell you another story.

Friends of mine got a house 2 years ago. They hired builders to do the work and they finished and left without to leave any documents. How they pay alot of money to sort everythig out. But yesterday they discovered that the builders didnt do everything right. How they have to pay few thousand to move the watermeter because its not on the right place. Something that they already paid for.

Bulgaria is a piece of the paradise only if you know how to do the things here. I will say it again: Always contact with a lawyer or if you have bulgarian friends - ask them . people here are fantastic but there are many of them that will look in your pocket more than in your face!

Very helpful advice propertyvarna !
Today I got an email from an english client looking for a property in Italy . She c used to own a house in France , but as somthing was wrong with the documents - which she did not know , the french government claimd th house and took it away from her without paying her anything !!! Shocked

Can you imagine that ?? So you see , you can also be frauded in highly civilized countries ! Confused

yes i can. For money everything is possible.

I want to tell the people how the things are, because everyone looking at the prizes will say: "great, house for 10000 euro - so cheap" or " house or 5000 - very cheap" but they dnt know how much it will cost them after they buy it. And its not the money only - its the time. Another problem is the language and of course that you are not bulgarian. then the prize of everything goes up few times. Im lucky I have my bulgarian friend. You cant imagine how many times she asked me to stay outside or in the car when she talks about prizes. I had to visit a dentist - it cost me 100 euro for 3 teeth out and 3 fake teeth on the denture. A friend of mine paid 300 euro only for a teeth out ! I dont want to talk about lawers ...

Just money and time if you dont open your eyes at the beginning

You are beeing very helpful propertyvarna ... hope no bulgarians will read this .
But without kidding , it is important to know a lot of insider information about a country before investing hard eraned money .

But you know , people very often don´t think anymore , if they get gready and want to do the BEST BARGAIN in their live , this seems to affect their brain !!

I dont care will they read it or not. If its not true lets prove it! I dont mind somebody to tell me Im wrong.The problem is that its my own experience Smile

And I really hope when people stop to be really stupid everything here will get better.

And another story : an english family decided to move here. They knew somebody from few years and he offered them to buy the house untill they fix all the documents in England so it will safe them some money. They lost 30 000 punds. Very silly
