Property in owner's family since prior to the creation of the 1691 map of Yorktowne, Virginia. A direct relative, John Rogers, had a building worth over 100 pounds (quite a sum at that time) built there.  My great grand-father built his new home here in 1900. My wife and I restored it to its present condition in 1980.
