For sports enthusiasts, families as well as anybody who enjoys the beautiful Austrian mountainside, a few precious moments of tranquillity in the surrounding pine forests, walks along crystal clear mountain lakes or just enjoys the panoramic views from the hotels terrace.
Anybody staying at the Hotel  who enjoys the nature as well as hiking and nordic walking has to look no further than past the hotel front door to see some of the many hiking trails that have been created on and around the area. The trails that pass right outside the hotel bring our guests to the top of the mountain as well as well as back down into the valley. For anybody who does not feel quite as energetic there is always the cable car that is located only a couple of meters away from the hotel.
The cable car can be used to get to the top of the mountain at  2200 meters, from where the guests can enjoy more walks and fantastic views (Dolomites/Italy, the 2864 meter high Mt. Triglav/Slovenia or the 3798 meter Grossglockner – the highest mountain of Austria). But even the view from the hotel is breathtaking and anybody lucky enough to manage to get a north facing room will be able to enjoy the views over the three valleys (Mölltal, Drautal and Liesertal). Guests in the south facing rooms will be able to enjoy the views of the mountain tops of the nearby peaks.
In winter Ski beginners can start just a few meters from the hotel with the help of the best skiing instructors.
